FORM.INSPIRATION
Sculptural explorations of form and pattern - through scenography, installation and photography - are intertwined with visual documentation drawn from the artist's archive of sketches and works.
This archive functions both symbolically and thematically shaping the project's visual language.
The work draws inspiration from a wide spectrum of references: coats of arms, armor, liturgical vestments, avant-garde theater costumes, compound eyes, paper dolls, marionettes, jumping-jack puppets, Lego, bibs, clotheslines, altars, pedestals, vitrines, shadow play, embalming, and "lemming processions."
